Apparently there was a 5.5 Earthquake 10 km from Moana's at 5 am, but I didn't wake up.
Drove to New Plymouth passing by Virginia Lake @ Wangami. Had a MUSSEL FRITTER, better than it sounds. Once I could see Mt. Taranaki I couldn't stop shooting photos on my way around it to New Plymouth. Stayed at the Sunflower Lodge, another great Hostel with a massive TV. Check out the view photo. Met up with an Edmontonian, Aaron, went for dinner and a couple of beers. Pretty slow town. I ended the night watching the mega famous NZ movie "Once were Warriors". Dam good show.
