My mate Chris picked me up from the terminal, headed to his house to grab my car and then met up with my lovely friend Pia in Plimmerton. We chilled out at Moana's, which is an absolutely gorious hostel, more like a bed and breakfast, that is right on the water front (see the view even though there was rain). On Day 103 Pia and I headed into Wellington to check out the Te Papa, NZ national museum, which is excellent. Quick stop at the park first. I spent a couple of hours in the Lord of the Rings exhibition and then we checked out a random video on New Zealanders and were blow away by a Whale skeleton. Cool! Oh, check out the guys hanging a window.
