Group of us at the hostel headed to Surfers Paradise for a Saturday night out, which followed the Friday "Big Night" (my energy was low). It's about an hour south of Brisbane, so I thought what the hell. Extremely touristy town! Clubs covered all ages which was good, but I think it's safe to say I am done with clubs (about 4 years ago). Stayed at Sleeping Inn Surfers, which could be amazing if it was a bit cleanier. 2, 4 bedroom shared apartments with bathroom and kitchen. Pool and hot tub and close to clubbing area. Surfer's also boasts the highest residential building in the world, check it out Q1, 78 stories.
